Descent of The Ganges

Worlds in layers with beings billion,  

Gods and Humans, Animals and Demons. 

 

Strong tusked elephants, lions and deer,

Sage Bhagiratha in penance without fear. 

 

A central rift hewing the massive rock, 

The mirroring line to which all worlds flock. 

 

The nether world's snake gods in adulation, ascend,

Making way for the mighty Ganges to descend.
